“I’m nearing my first anniversary as a line cook at the Big Blue Cafe, and I love it here. I’d say my proudest life moment was completing boot camp for the Marines in 2004. If I had the opportunity to create a new menu item for the cafe, it would be a pesto chicken pita filled with Monterey Jack cheese, diced tomatoes, and bacon. What I enjoy most about working here is the camaraderie with my colleagues. My current favorite menu item is the chili omelet. I like my eggs over medium.”
